Coyote ForteDXi is a sample player designed for use with
DirectX compatible host programs eg. Band In a Box, from PG
Music. Its 128 high quality sampled instruments offer a sound
quality far better than the standard Windows Midi
Synthesizer.

Some of the unique features of ForteDXi are:

100 voices of polyphony possibly limited by the
capabilities of your PC
Plays "gig" giga format files the most common format for
very high quality samples
Ships with a full General Midi GM2 compatible sound bank
of high quality sampled instruments, everything from a
Steinway grand piano, to a Stratocaster electric guitar, to
brass and wind instruments.
High quality reverb with settings for room size, reverb
amount and reverb damping
High quality compressor based on Coyotes acclaimed DirectX
Compressor plugin
Limiter for higher effective volume with minimal clipping

System Requirements

A DirectX instrument compatible host program
Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
Pentium 4 or Athlon XP recommended, with:
At least 256MB of RAM, and
A 16 or 24 bit sound card

This latest version of ForteDXi provides several fixes to the
previous version and includes additional enhancements:

Fixed: "reset all controllers" problem, which caused volume
to be wrong if host sent a Reset All Controllers CC after
setting the channel volume.
Fixed: the way volume and expression CCs are handled. Now
both can be adjusted while a note is playing and the note
volume will change properly.
Fixed: bug that prevented multiple copies of ForteDXi to run
concurrently.
Added the ability to specify the instrument to be loaded
into each channel.
Reverb now defaults to club, rather than hall setting.
Increased Volume Adjustment range to 6 to +6 dB.
Reverb damping control has greater effective range.
